FUTURE-PROOFING YOUR COMPANY
Dynamics 365 is a cloud platform, SaaS (Software as a service), so you are consuming a service rather than installing a product. However, where it differs, and what makes it more economical than some other SaaS platforms is that you only pay for what you use, as most Licences are based on consumption. You are also not tied into a contract either, it’s paid and cancelled on a monthly basis.
How stable is your back up data?
Cloud deployment gives users peace of mind by not only removing the need to safeguard internal servers, but it will also automatically back up data, which will remove a time centric IT task.
How agile is your disaster recovery?
D365 has a financially backed, 99.9% uptime guarantee, you can also be safe in the knowledge that Microsoft have robust disaster recovery features, should any be necessary.
Microsoft’s protocols include keeping a synchronized, duplicate copy of all company data on a second server, so in the event of unexpected service outages, your employees will be able to continue with minimal disruption.
How many time centric repetitive tasks do you have?
D365 deployment in your business will allow you access to expansive and continually evolving business intelligence tools. The cloud not only stores and processes your data, but also learns from it.
Machine learning in recent years, is becoming normal and repetitive tasks will be identified and automated – we’ve helped several companies recently, who have reduced a manual task that was taking one person a week to do, to a one day task!
How quickly could your system scale?
Buying D365 Licences not only offers flexibility but also lends itself to instant scalability. Servers and processors are expensive but using SaaS software means you can flex and scale quickly and easily.
Often at Inturi, we find that we can leverage existing Licences to do more by flexing them. So, for example, if your business takes a different turn, which it might have done due to the pandemic – we can adapt the Licence to work with the new data stream.
Also note that as you scale, you’ll increase data usage, but because many of the Licences are based on usage SMB’s will not be paying the same as enterprise businesses.
Are your systems going out of date?
Users of Dynamics 365 benefit from a little-and-often approach meaning users are always at the forefront of any new developments with the software. You’ll also never again have to do time-consuming installations of new product versions.
